Opening this summer with a bang – the newly refurbished Newport venue is set to open the
doors very soon. Work is well underway for the first phase of this exciting refurbishment and
it is safe to say this venue is going to be one of a kind for a wonderfully proud community. Taking full advantage of its magnificent location and natural surrounds while celebrating the heritage of the hotel itself, our long-term vision is to deliver a fresh and expanded mix of food, entertainment, social and cultural experiences.

Executive Chef Vincenzo Biondini is very talented and has a great knowledge and love of Italian cuisine. His chefs love to work with him or his fun nature and passion for food. He uses produce like vine-ripened San Marzano tomatoes grown in the plains of Mount Vesuvius in Naples and prepares the ingredients using a variety of techniques – prawns are sautÃ©ed in chilli, paprika and white wine, eggplant chargrilled with thyme, capsicum cooked with garlic and bay leaves
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for an experienced Sous Pizza Chef who has worked in a really busy venue!
You can expect to make around 1500 pizzas per day!! We need someone who has
experience making Napoli style pizza, by hand, from scratch and using a wood fired pizza oven at 450c. You also need to have incredible passion and experience in a high volume environment.
A unique working environment, the kitchen is open plan so it is essential that you are a clean, neat and organised worker. A great opportunity to work within a large team of approximately 23 chefs, this dynamic will push you to develop your skills and passion.
