The Company

Lawley Pharmaceuticals is a privately owned pharmaceutical company with a focus on the transdermal administration of the naturally occurring hormones testosterone, progesterone and oestradiol. Founded in 1995, Lawley Pharmaceuticals has grown to become a world leader in research and development of topical hormone creams. We work in collaboration with our manufacturing partners Perrigo Australia whose world class manufacturing facility is in Balcatta, Western Australia.

The Role

The Sales and Business Development Representative will be provided with all the necessary tools, resources and knowledge to achieve business targets through the implementation of sales strategies. This role will start with 3 days per week and move to full time as the business develops. Responsibilities include developing and supporting existing medical professionals and seeking out others (utilising available target lists) who have a strong interest in hormonal treatments, including Endocrinologists, Urologists, Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. You will develop an understanding of our customer needs and tailor a business strategy to meet those needs whilst managing customer relationships and business through a CRM. Well-developed communication skills are absolute necessity.

The Person

With at least 5 years selling experience, you already have a good understanding of the Australian healthcare industry and pharmaceutical market and are capable of communicating well with medical professionals. A degree in business or relevant life sciences and relevant business experience would be beneficial but not absolutely necessary. You will be able to demonstrate achievements in pharmaceutical or allied sales and have the ability to manage a territory including targeting, profiling and managing customers whilst meeting KPIs. Your energetic and goal orientated personality will allow you to become a strong player within the company.

The territory will be discussed at interview but will be south of Brisbane city and include the Gold Coast. Some country travel may be involved and as Lawley will be participating in medical seminars, some weekend work will be involved and this will be discussed further at interview.
