The Role

The Office of University Relations is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Database Officer to join the team on the Fremantle Campus. This is a full-time, one year fixed-term parental relief contract based on the Fremantle Campus.

This position will be responsible for using, maintaining and developing the Raiser’s Edge database with duties including:

  • the segmentation of the database;
  • exporting data to produce custom reports and set up and use of both standard and specific queries;
  • key liaison with database consultants and Schools and Offices with regards to database needs;
  • using computer analysis skills, including the use of software to create documents, spreadsheets, timelines, and reports; and
  • updating the University’s use of Raisers’ Edge in a Policies and Procedures Guide.

Skills & Experience

To be successful for this role, you will:

  • possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels;
  • have the ability to provide high-quality data management, and take the initiative to improve functions and processes for optimal efficiency; * possess analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail;
  • possess knowledge of MS Word, Excel, database software and reporting including importing, exporting, querying, manipulating and analysing data.
