About the business and the role

MTGA specialise in the delivery of technological solutions of aftermarket mobile mining systems and communications products within the mining industry. We optimise production performance whilst reducing costs for our customers.

Job tasks and responsibilities

The Role involves but is not limited to:

Accounting administration including supplier invoices, processing pays fortnightly, processing bank reconciliation monthly and tracking purchase orders and payments

Online banking payment setups and monthly bank reconciliation

Keeping track of accounts receivable and following up any late or overdue payments, reconciling payments to orders

Compiling MYOB reports, producing quarterly BAS and other reports to directors

Frontline reception, telephone answering, team communication

Maintaining rapport with staff, client contacts and suppliers

Filing, record keeping, paperwork management

Recruitment, ad placing, paperwork and HR organisation

Mobilisation, booking training courses, booking flights, ensuring qualifications/tickets are valid, organising uniforms

Writing & maintaining policies/procedures/memos

PA to Directors

‘Housekeeping’ – kitchen supplies etc.

Skills and experience

The Successful Candidate will:

Team administration experience

MYOB accounting experience ̢ proficient in MYOB РEssential

Accounts receivable and collections experience

Good mannered nature and desire to produce excellent work

Pass drug & alcohol screen

Absolute commitment to occupational health & safety

Good communication skills

Superior administration and record keeping skills

Great time management and the ability to prioritise jobs

Personal characteristics of responsibility and confidentiality

Be professionally presented and well spoken

Have excellent literacy and numeracy skills

Have sound computer skills in Microsoft Office

Have a positive team orientated attitude

Be proactive and take initiative

Will have friendly, confident phone manner and interpersonal skills

Be available for immediate start

Have reliable transport

Currently reside in Perth, Western Australia

Be a Permanent Australian resident
